Hundreds of independent art and museums spaces were forced to close due to the Corona-Crisis. In this series we are celebrating the fantastic artistic events that are right now sitting behind closed doors. This time take a virtual tour through the group show Have you seen a horizon lately curated by Marie-Ann Yemsi in cooperation with scenographer Franck Houndégla at MACAAL in Marrakech, Morocco.
Taking its title from a song by Yoko Ono, the exhibition explores the politics of space and place and is an invitation to see and know the world differently. Through a variety of media and with several new commissions, HAVE YOU SEEN A HORIZON LATELY? sees participating artists question their lived environment in a sensitive and committed way.
With Maxwell Alexandre, Farah Al Qasimi, Felipe Arturo, Amina Benbouchta, Gaëlle Choisie, Rahima Gambo, Akira Ikezoe, Kiluandji Kia Henda, Kapwani Kiwanga, Yoko Ono, Daniel Otero Torres and Sandrine Pelletier.
