Art X Lagos presents the second edition of its annual contemporary art fair. and will return from Friday 3rd November until Sunday 5th November 2017 to The Civic Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Through its contribution to the increased visibility of African artists, ART X Lagos aims to reinforce the visual arts as an important component of the creative industry in Nigeria and Africa, and to position Lagos as an emergent cultural capital on the continent.

Building in the success if the debut edition, which welcomed 5.000 vistors to see the works of 65 artists, the second Art X Lagos Art Fair will feature a boutique selection of galleries from Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Senegal, Cameroon, Ivory Coast and the United Kingdom, in addition to a dynamic program of talks, and curated and interactive projects.

The 2017 edition of ART X Lagos will deliver a broad, dynamic program of exhibitions, talks and interactive projects.

ART X Lagos will open with a special Collectors’ Preview  at 2pm on Friday 3rd November, followed ba a VIP Preview at 6pm on the same day.

The fair will be open to the public on Saturday. Admission is via registration.

3:00pm – 4:15pm: ART X Talks

Out of over 600 entries, the winner of the ART X Prize with Access will be announced.
