La 36a edición de la Bienal está dirigida por el curador general Prof. Dr. Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung, con su equipo de cocuradores, conformado por Alya Sebti, Anna Roberta Goetz y Thiago de Paula Souza, además de la cocuradora at large Keyna Eleison.

En esta edición, la Bienal propone repensar la humanidad como práctica viva, guiada por la metáfora del estuario, espacio de encuentros y coexistencia. Articulada en tres ejes, se inspira en Conceição Evaristo para reclamar tiempo, silencio y reconexión con la naturaleza; en René Depestre para reflexionar sobre el otro y la interconectividad; en el manguebit para abordar la colonialidad, el poder y las fusiones culturales. La muestra suscita una escucha atenta y la negociación entre mundos distintos.

La 36a Bienal de San Pablo, No todo viajero recorre caminos. De la humanidad como práctica, está abierta hasta el 11 de enero de 2026.
