C& Mentoring Program Enters a new Round

C& Mentoring Program Enters a new Round - Contemporary And

Our mentors Fadzai Muchemwa, Enos Nyamor, Miriane Peregrino, and Costa Tshinzam selected four new mentees for 2022.

The C& Mentoring Program invites writers with new, developmental or emerging practices to establish a mentor-mentee relationship with senior arts writers. We aim to support art critics in developing their experiences and reflexive explorations on a bit more long-term basis than workshops. Since 2016, with the support of Ford Foundation, we have facilitated a series of writing workshops and mentoring programs with participants from Lubumbashi, Kinshasa, Harare, Luanda, Cairo, Bogotá, Morocco, Nairobi, Kigali, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Ghana.

In the current edition, we are joined by mentors Fadzai Muchemwa, Enos Nyamor, Miriane Peregrino, and Costa Tshinzam who have been mentees themselves in previous workshops and C& Mentoring Programs. They are working with Bwanga Kapumpa, Gloria Mpanga, Merilyn Mushakwe and Lorna Telma Zita.
