Chichiguas en Tiempo de Zafra

With Chichigusas, Caribbean Arts Initiative announces the continuation of the history of the mountains workshops series with Tiempo de Zafra this July.

Chichiguas will start with Instagram live on Friday 9th of July at 8pm (GMT - 4) to share the dialogue with a wider public, followed by two in-person workshops at the National Botanical Garden, Santo Domingo ( July 9th-10th).

About:

Tiempo de Zafra was launched in late 2017, by Stephanie Rodriguez and Edgar Garrido. This fashion brand focuses on raising awareness and combating the global issue of waste management and landfill. As well as reusing fabrics to create new items, the couple work with different communities but also provide new job opportunities in the region

Please see the flyer here and subscribe at info@caribbean.art for the workshop.
