The Hub Collective

The Hub's weekly painting workshops offer Bequia youth, adults, and those visiting the island first-hand training with our Co-Founder and Seer, Colin Peters.

The sessions are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and take participants through painting basics like composition, colour and shading. Each week, participants grow their techniques and hone in on their passion and craft.

Painting basics covered include:

 •
Mixing basic colours and paint textures

 •
Learning brush techniques (different ways of using the brush)

 •
Painting basic shapes

 •
Fading and blending colour

 •
Understanding light and perspective

 •
Correcting common errors

 •
Sketching a still life
