Zoulikha Bouabdellah a grandi en Algérie et étudié en France à l’École Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Paris-Cergy. Son travail se traduit sous la forme d’installations, de dessins, vidéos ou photographies qui portent un regard féministe sur la religion, l’hybridité culturelle et la mondialisation. Plus récemment, elle s’est servie de lettres d’amour pour aborder le statut des femmes.
