A exposição coletiva, no Kunstverein em Hamburgo, olha para os processos de desumanização que vêm ocorrendo na Europa.

Not Fully Human, Not Human at All (Não inteiramente humano, de forma alguma humano) é nomeada a partir do ensaio de Donna Haraway intitulado Ecce Homo, Ain’t (Ar’n’t) I a Woman, and Inappropriate/d Others (Ecce Homo, não seria (seriam) eu uma mulher, e outra(o)s imprópria(o)s/inapropria(o)s), um texto que desafia as reivindicações “universais” do Humanismo Iluminista a fim de propor condições do que ela chama de humanidade coletiva “não genérica”. Nesse texto, Haraway se refere à descrição de Hortense Spillers sobre os níveis de desumanização e da falta de qualquer subjetividade legal a que as vítimas do tráfico transatlântico de pessoas escravizadas, especialmente a mulher escravizada nos Estados Unidos, foram submetidas. A exposição coletiva analisa os processos de desumanização que vêm ocorrendo na Europa.
