Janice Iche: A Question of Time, Resilience, Beauty & Love

16 Abril 2022

Encerra: 5 maio 2022

Video installation & performance by Janice Iche next Thursday, 21 April 2022. The installation will be on view at C& until 5 May 2022.

A Question of Time, Resilience, Beauty & Love (2018) is a video installation by Mombasa-based artist Janice Iche. It explores the objectification of women and their supposed role in the patriarchal and capitalist society. In this work, art is about fearlessness in living, loving and being. Through art, Iche gets to practice living a life that is directed solely by heart and intuition. To test who they are, life theories and philosophies directly through the body.
