Nubuke Foundation introduces The Last of the Romanticists, a solo exhibition by Nerissa Brobbey. This exhibition consists of paintings inspired by friends, collegues and the artist's immediate surroundings. Nerissa Brobbey, born in Ghana started painting at the age of three years old when her father noticed her drawing constantly with the paper from his typewriter. She was the youngest art student enrolled at the Children's Club in Bucharest, Romania. Under the mentorship of Romanian artist Mariana Palea, Nerissa began painting in oil on canvas at the age of five. She has had exhibitions in Romania, Ghana and USA. The Last of the Romanticists opens on 7th May and features an art conversation with the artist at 4pm. The exhibition continues till 5th June, 2022. nubukefoundation.viewingrooms.com
