Curating Diversity Symposium

Audio/video contributions to the Curating Diversity symposium 2021 are now being accepted. Participation in the symposium is not required. Deadline May 2nd.
In the weeks leading up to the symposium, Sounds Now invites everyone to send in a short video or audio contribution relating to either, or both, of the following questions:

• What does freedom sound like?
• How do you imagine the sound of the future?

With this open call, Sounds Now would like to gather different representations of non-colonial and decolonizing practices around the globe. All contributions will be presented in an online gallery to inspire discussion during the Curating Diversity symposium on May 6-7, 2021. Interested parties are invited to submit their ideas in the form of video, music, sound, spoken, written, performed formats (max 5 minutes/ mp4, wmv, avi, mov, mp3 format).
