Colombia: The Corn, The River and The Grave

Colombia: The Corn, The River and The Grave
The group-exhibition “Colombia: The Corn, The River and The Grave is at the Museo de Las Americas” in Denver presenting the works of fifteen artists.
The exhibition tells an identity story of the anxiety and calm of the Colombian territory, weaving a possible fabric about the complexities of the land as a point of divergence between the sacred and the mercantile. Exhausted from development driven by selfish interests, the alteration of rivers, and the uneven expansion of war graves, Colombia has reached a historical crossroads.
Participating artists include: Antonio Caro, Colectivo Antónima, Jorge Vaca Forero, Santiago Vélez, Wilmer Useche, Carlos Uribe, Erika Diettes, Nadia Granados, Sebastián Sánchez, Yosman Botero, Carmenza Estrada, Fernando Arias, Samir Quintero, Victór Muñóz, 5ta con 5ta Crew.
